
Greater London Authority (GLA)
The GLA is a strategic regional authority, with powers over transport, policing, economic development, and fire and emergency planning. Three functional bodies — Transport for London, the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, and London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority — are responsible for delivery of services in these areas.

GLA Expenditure over £250
Greater London Authority (GLA)The Mayor is committed to providing financial transparency and has instructed that regular reports should be published on all GLA expenditure over £1,000, including VAT. From summer 2010 the reporting threshold was reduced to £500 (including VAT) and from June 2012 the threshold has been reduced to £250.
